IKEA TV STAND

Like a bad online date whose pics look a lot better than they do in person. I have an IKEA coffee table that is much sturdier, bigger, and works better as a tv stand. This is small and looks cheap. It also arrived damaged, with a corner smashed so that I couldn't fasten it to one of the legs. I would recommend the seller either pack this better, or stop selling this item. With IKEA one can expect some inconsistency in quality, however, this is a new low as far as design and quality.

I am using it as a full tower computer stand. It is very sturdy, looks great, and an ideal height, width, and length for my needs. Honestly I would think it is a bit low as a TV stand, so make sure the height works for you. The only thing I don't like is its made of particle board, but at the price really cant complain.

For the life of me I cannot see why others are whining about this TV stand. It is exactly the size described, arrived intact, and assembled in about 10 minutes. It seems quite sturdy and able to hold many times the rated weight. If your guests frequently crawl around on the floor examining the fit and finish of your furniture you should probably look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a stand that does not cost almost as much as a TV this will serve you well.

It actually stays together pretty well, but when assembling it, it was kind of a nightmare, typical Ikea instructions with weird cartoon pictures and no written instructions. A few of the bolts ended up puncturing the cheap particle board material, so be careful when assembling if you care about aesthetic appearances.
