Longmire TV Show

It was a LONG wait for season 3. There are so few quality shows these days that when I find one like this 10 or 13 episodes and then a 9 month wait is too long. The White Warrior picked up right were the Season 2 finale left off. This episode was fast paced and did not disappoint. The episode flew by and left me wanting more, more, more. We welcomed back Walt and company and this cast is just stellar! Casting was just so spot on. We also got to see some supporting players that we don't get to see often enough like Jacob Nighthorse, Mathias, Barlow Connally, and the beautiful New Mexico landscape subbing as Wyoming. The Cinematography on this show is so good. Even the casting on the supporting players and guest stars is stellar. We get to look forward to guest stars Graham Greene and Nia Peeples (Walker Texas Ranger) this season amongst others I'm sure. We got some answers to some of the mysteries from last season but one of the things that makes this show so good is it also brought up more questions. This is a show that you have to pay attention to when watching as little clues that are easily missed are scattered throughout that you may not realize have significance until several episodes later. This show makes you think and is not mindless fluff as so many shows are these days. If you have not watched this show yet give it a try I think you will be surprised how good it is. Start with season 1. A modern day procedural with a western flare with the wide open spaces of the western landscape as a backdrop. If The White Warrior is any indication this should be an amazing season. This show just keeps getting better!

As with all good T.V. shows these days, it appears Longmire has been cancelled! What a bummer. You get something good that you look forward to watching each week and the powers that be yank it. Guess they didn't think there was enough smut or use of the "F" word every other word to keep the audience's interest. The story lines were believeable, stars Robert Taylor and Lou Diamond Phillips did an outstanding job of presenting the story in such a way as to keep you tuning in to see if and how (among other stories within the main story) they would catch the real perpetrators and/or clear their names as to their alleged involvement in the murders of Longmire's wife and her real killer. The story also portrayed a pretty accurate picture of the problems some real Native Americans have to deal with on a daily basis e.g., alcoholism, substandard living conditions on the Reservations and joblessness to name a few. I personally have written a letter to the network asking them to please return Longmire to the air, I hope other viewers will do the same. With a concerted effort, perhaps we, the fans of the show, can save it.

loved the ending of season 3, if I had netflix, I would be able to watch season 4, since they bought the series from the cable channel. It was cancelled because too many "old people" i.e., those over 49 watched it and even though we have more money to spend, we're considered unworthy as viewers. Ah, the stupidity of studio heads.
